Prior teaching experience or fluency in a language other than English is not required. The Tutor Training Workshop is designed to fully prepare volunteer tu tors to teach a VEP student and help them reach th eir English language goals. In-person\, virtual an d/or hybrid tutoring opportunities are available.< /i> References and background checks will be co nducted before being matched with a student. You m ust be 18 years of age or older to volunteer.< /p>
*Please note that while this is a vi rtual event\, your hard-copy Tutor Training Guide will need to be picked up at the VEP office in Wes t Chester the week before training starts. Pick-up dates will be provided after registration.
