September 2020 Virtual Tutor Training

We're going VIRTUAL! 

Volunteer English Program is proud to announce our new VIRTUAL Tutor Training Workshop format, designed to prepare volunteer tutors to teach English to non-native speakers in the community. 

Despite the uncertainty felt throughout our communities due to Covid-19, VEP remains a beacon for adult students who are seeking English as a new language instruction and cultural guidance.  Through this training format, Volunteer English Program can continue to connect volunteers with new residents and provide one-to-one tutoring and cultural enrichment that empowers immigrants to be successful.

When:  September 22nd, 24th, and 30th, 2020 

Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Where: Zoom Virtual Platform

Please dress comfortably. Feel free to enjoy your own snacks and/or beverages.
